The vet who looks
differently.

Thirty years of veterinary medicine. Four years with Aboriginal people in the Australian outback. Today I bring both worlds together — for animals that deserve more than a diagnosis.

The turning point

Four years that alles changed everything.

Connection

I could have run a good veterinary practice in Switzerland. Instead I packed my bags and flew to Australia — and stayed four years.

One evening by the campfire, an Aboriginal elder said to me: “True health does not begin where you see the pain. It begins far deeper.”

That sentence changed my work as a vet for good. Today I know: real health begins in the cell — and in connection.

What Aboriginal people taught me

A different understanding of health.

The First Peoples of Australia carry knowledge that is 60,000 years old. It changed how I see animals, bodies and health for good.

Everything is connected.

For Aboriginal people there is no separation between animal, human and nature. A sick animal is always a signal too — to its surroundings, to its person, to the whole system around it.

Look closely, do not only measure.

Long before blood work shows anything, the body is already telling its story — in posture, in the eyes, in the energy. I learned to read that language. Not instead of medicine, but alongside it.

Health as a process.

Health is not a switch you flip. It is a return to balance and connection. That takes time, patience and support — which is exactly what I offer the people I work with and their animals.

Do you know the feeling?

Your animal is suffering — and the answers never come.

Lab values and X-rays do not show everything. As a vet who knows both conventional medicine and the deep wisdom of Aboriginal people, I know this: real health happens on several levels at once.

  • Your animal has been treated — but it never really got better.
  • You sense that something is wrong, but the findings stay unclear.
  • You want to help actively, not just wait and hand out tablets.
  • You are looking for someone who sees your animal as a whole.
  • You want to understand what your animal is trying to tell you.

About me

I am Olivia Vera Rudolf.

A vet out of passion — and someone who sensed early on that health means more than making symptoms disappear.

For four years I lived with Aboriginal people in the Australian outback. I was not there as a tourist. I learned. I listened. I came to understand how 60,000 years of knowledge about connection, nature and health can live inside a way of life that our western medicine barely knows.

Back in Switzerland I am the bridge between those two worlds: between blood work and gut feeling, between scalpel and stillness, between diagnosis and connection. In my practice in Buckten I walk with animals and their people towards real, lasting health.

Voices from the heart

What animal owners experience.

Real feedback from people who walked part of the way with me and their animals.

He is doing really well now and is properly fit again — and most importantly: he has not had a single collapse since. My parents and I want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your help, your tips and your support.

Thank you, dear Olivia, for such a wonderful encounter. Warm greetings from Fehmarn.

I thought the course was about understanding my dog better. I never expected so much to happen with mir along the way. An enormous gift — for yourself and for your animal.

Whenever we had visitors I was stressed — and Zora chewed her paws like mad. I thought: it must be the food! No — it was me. She picks that up. She has stopped chewing. Thank you for holding up the mirror.

With your tips and the change of diet, everything is perfect again for Amara. It took a while — the patience paid off. I am over the moon.

Mailo is fitter by the day — brighter, more present, more playful. The way a young dog should be. It is visibly doing him good. We are deeply grateful to you.

“I never give up!” With that sentence you gave us hope where others saw none. Our horse was given another two and a half wonderful years — full of joy and being a horse.

After several vet visits nobody could help. Then you came. By the third day we could sleep again. Cooper is doing great — and it has lasted.

You give me sooo much courage, confidence and reassurance. I am so glad to be walking this path with you. Thank you so much.

After months my horse Rusty was fit and full of energy again. Today he flies through the forest and even does fine dressage work. It was worth it — heartfelt thanks, Olivia.

More and more I notice, even when I can no longer recall the details, what a shift in awareness you gave me. It is beautiful that I could take this path through you. Thank you from my heart.

This hands-on work on the nerve zones of horses does so much. You can read it in the horses’ responses: chewing, licking, yawning. I can only recommend this course to anyone who works with horses.

For dogs, cats and horses

Every animal has its own language.

Dog, cat, horse — I work with them all. With the same ear, the same patience, and a particular understanding of what sits behind the behaviour.

My promise

From the heart — for your animal.

Every animal deserves to be heard, understood and supported as a whole. That is the foundation of my work.

Frequently asked

What animal owners ask me most often.

More than you might think. For over 60,000 years, Aboriginal people observed how living beings relate to each other and to their surroundings. For them health is never an isolated thing — it always happens in the context of connection, energy and system.

I bring that knowledge into my veterinary work: not instead of medicine, but as an extension of it. It gives me tools that conventionally trained vets often do not have.

No — and that matters a great deal to me. I am a licensed veterinarian. Conventional diagnostics, lab work and veterinary treatment have their irreplaceable place.

What I offer is an addition: I look where conventional medicine often does not — at cellular health, at communication, at energetic blockages. In an emergency the rule is always: go to a vet immediately.

A closed WhatsApp group in which I support animal owners each month with a live call, impulses and videos — direct, personal, unfiltered.

You get access to what I have learned in 30 years of veterinary medicine and four years in Australia, for EUR 78 a month (incl. VAT), cancellable monthly.

Animals communicate through energy, body language, behaviour and subtle signals. As a vet I learned to read that language over many years — through my practice, but above all through my time with Aboriginal people.

It is not magic. It is attentive observation combined with medical knowledge. And it helps me see connections that blood work alone does not show.

I work mainly with dogs, cats and horses. But the principles I apply hold for all living beings — an understanding of connection, energy and whole health does not stop at any species.
